It is Sunday May 17th, 2020. The world is fighting the first massive pandemic it has faced in a century. Governments around the world are struggling to support not only their health care systems but their economy and their people. Some countries will hold presidential elections later in the year and some are stuck with lame leaders they just chose to the post.
There is a Sunday politics and current affairs show called Meet the Press, led by Chuck Todd on NBC. It is the longest running show in TV history. Given the nature of the coverage for the past several years of deep partisanship in America, I see the title of my post as a more fitting alternative to the show’s name.
